BSNL launched NGN Services - 'WINGS', Now Make or receive landline calls on your mobile or laptop from any where in the world

National telecom backbone - Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is pleased to announce that BSNL had commercially launched various Value Added Services on fixed telephony using NGN technology with effet from 2nd of April 2016.

BSNL launched NGN services like - All India IP Centrex, Multimedia Video Conferencing, Prepaid fixed telephone & Fixed Mobile Telephony. All these services are being made available under the brand name - WINGS.

1. All India IP Centrex 

Under this service you can build up a closed user group between your friends and family. The members of this group may have BSNL landline and / or BSNL Mobile. By paying a nominal monthly charges, all members of the group can talk unlimited without paying call charges.

2. Multimedia Video Conferencing

Using this service a NGN fixed line users can setup an audio conferencing or video conferencing between himself and up to 29 more users, which can be either BSNL  customers or from  an any telecom operator.

3. Prepaid Fixed Telephony

Under this service BSNL is introducing a prepaid fixed telephony as is available on mobile telephony. Users of prepaid fixed telephony don’t have to pay any rental. He ( User) will pay only for the outgoing calls he made from his fixed telephony.

4. Fixed Mobile Telephony (FMT)

Under this service a fixed telephone connection can be installed on a mobile device (mobile telephone, notebook etc), using an app. Using this service customer can move anywhere in the world and will be able to receive /make calls from his fixed telephone. The calls can be made/received under Wi-Fi environment only.

5. Fixed mobile convergence ( Follow me)

Under this service a NGN user can transfer his incoming calls to any of up to 8 numbers of BSNL telephony (fixed or Mobile). This service will help the customer not to lose or miss any incoming call on his fixed telephone customer has to pay only fixed charges to avail this facility.

The tariff and details of these services are being made available on BSNL website namely www.bsnl.co.in. Services as above (1) to (3) are available only to NGN fixed line customers whereas Fixed Mobile Telephony Service will be available to any customer anywhere in the country on demand.
