BSNL announces launch of value added services under fixed telephony
Government telecom operator BSNL has announced the commercial launch of various value added services (VAS) on telephones using NGN technology with effect from April 2, 2016. Under All India IP Centrex, a person can build up a close user group between his friends and family and the members of this group may have BSNL landline and/or BSNL mobile.

On announcing the scheme on 30th March 2016, BSNL informed that, the community data pack includes all existing Data STVs with selling price equal to or more than Rs. 150/-.

Reliance Jio, ZTE in talks for broadband access technology deployment
NEW DELHI: Chinese gear maker ZTE is eyeing a 20% revenue growth this year on the back of mobile phone operators' aggressive network modernization activities and government's Smart City initiative.
